The Heart Behind One City

We are a people who are passionately pursuing Jesus. And deeply committed to helping people encounter an extraordinary God.

We see a city full of potential… full of gifted people, growing families, skeptical seekers, weary believers, and people who have quietly given up on church altogether. And we believe God is not finished writing their story.

FOR THE ONE : FOR THE CITY

The Mission

Our mission is simple but bold:

Helping people awaken to the wonder of Jesus and live a bold, vibrant faith.

We are planting One City Church to build a community that is passionately pursuing Jesus and deeply committed to helping people encounter an extraordinary God.

AWAKENED TO
JESUS
BOLD
VIBRANT

Our Values

In a fragmented world, we believe the Church should model unity, generosity, courage, and hope. We are not planting a church to compete with other churches. We are planting to complement, collaborate, and contend for spiritual renewal across our city. As a result, the values we hold will shape our culture, our leadership, and our decisions.

Jesus First… Always
Generosity That Changes Lives
Hospitality That Moves
Leaders Go First

Values Explained

Our values shape our culture, our leadership and our decisions.

Jesus First… Always

Jesus is not a part of what we do. He is the center of who we are. Scripture anchors us. The Gospel drives us. Everything flows from Him.

Generosity That Changes Lives

We believe generosity breaks spiritual strongholds and fuels Kingdom impact. We will give boldly, serve sacrificially and live open-handed.

Hospitality That Moves

People matter deeply to God, so they matter deeply to us. We will create hospitable spaces in our city, our tables, in our homes and in our environments that are warm, authentic, and transformational.

Leaders Go First… Except in the Cookie Line

We lead with humility, integrity, courage and example. We don’t ask others to do what we won’t first do ourselves.

Statement of Faith

For the One

Who’s a Skeptical Seeker

Questions are welcome here. Doubt isn’t disqualifying. You don’t have to pretend to believe before you belong. It’s ok to… Explore. Wrestle. Ask. We believe honest questions can lead to real faith.

Who Quietly Walked Away

Maybe you didn’t leave loudly. You just drifted.

If church hurt you, we’re sorry. If disappointment dimmed your devotion, we understand. We won’t minimize your story. If guilt or shame has made you feel like you don’t belong, Jesus hasn’t given up on you. And there’s still room for you here. No speeches required, no pretending necessary.

Who’s a Weary Believer

If you’re tired… come breathe again. Faith was never meant to feel like pressure. You don’t have to perform here. Let God restore what burnout tried to steal.

Who’s Gifted

You weren’t meant to sit on the sidelines. If you carry vision, leadership, creativity, compassion, we want to help you use it. This movement will be built by everyday people who step forward. We are committed to developing and releasing people into their calling. Maybe that’s you.

Our Prayer

ONE HEART
ONE PURPOSE

God, give us a vision that is beyond ourselves… that is bigger than we could ever imagine… and is birthed by Your power alone.

Help us trust You to lead us into a future only You could design. Show us the opportunities, guide our steps, and give us courage to step into what seems impossible, knowing that Your power alone brings growth.
We surrender our ideas, our timelines, and our fears, and ask that You build this church plant for Your glory. Make it a place where Your presence is unmistakable, lives are transformed, and Your Spirit is celebrated.

The Opportunity

You can join this vision in three primary ways:

PRAY WITH US

Nothing of lasting impact happens without prayer. Pray for unity. Pray for courage. Pray for open hearts across our city. Pray that Jesus would be unmistakably present in everything we build.

BE A PART OF THE MOVEMENT

Help shape the foundation from day one. Bring your gifts, your faith, your story, and your willingness to serve. This movement will be built by ordinary people saying yes to an extraordinary calling.

INVEST IN ONE CITY

Your generosity fuels real impact in real neighborhoods. Every gift helps create space for people to encounter Jesus, grow in community, and live bold faith. This isn’t about funding a service, it’s about investing in the spiritual future of our city.
