Simple Churches – A weekly rhythm of shared meals, shared needs, and deep discipleship – where the Word is wrestled out together in the context of real life and real relationships. Simple Churches will begin in October! You can officially begin to sign up for a Simple Church near you in September!
We are a Church of many Simple Churches
Scripture instructed and described elements of the church that should work for all people, in all places, in all times. The church in Scripture, throughout history, and around the world, practiced:
Decentralized
The church is not a building or a single leader, but a people across the community in homes and neighborhoods, bringing the church to the people.
Distributed
Shepherding is shared across many, not concentrated in one, but with distributed Lay Pastors who shepherd their neighbors and live out the Word in everyday life.
Diverse
Neighbors united by proximity, not just affinity or preference, but diverse Spiritual Families – rich, poor, young, and old together.
We are a CHURCH OF SIMPLE CHURCHES: Many Simple Churches, connected together as one.
